I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate under the supervision of Martha Brock, LPC-S, LMFT-S.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with Psychology minor from University of Oklahoma and a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.  I am Gottman Level 1 Trained and certified in RelateStrong, MarriageCore, and Prep (Prevention and Relationship Education Program).  Additionally, my background in working with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) has uniquely equipped me to walk alongside others through life and exploring how faith is a part of one's journey.

We all experience the effects of brokenness in our world.  Situations in life bring suffering and confusion. The choices of others impact us in hurtful ways, and our own weakness and failures can be overwhelming.  But there is hope and grace as God brings you healing in multiple ways.  God uses broken and imperfect people in this process, and there is great healing through finding a trained Christian counselor who will hear and understand your struggle and help you process it in light of who God is.

I work with adults, teens, pre-teens, as well as engaged couples and married couples through the kind of things that you are struggling with.  I love to see restoration in the lives of God’s people through counseling that reorients a person to His redemptive purposes.  My foundation for counseling is the gospel story.  God made a beautiful world with humans as His image bearers to live in it flourishing.  Yet this world was shattered through selfishness and rebellion against Him, so He promised a rescuer.  This rescue came through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  True life and healing are found in Him, but it is often a difficult path.  Counseling is a context for this healing to happen, and over time make changes in your actions, thoughts, beliefs, and desires.  I would love to provide a safe space for you to wrestle with pain, questions, anxiety, strongholds, conflicts, grief, or anger.  I look forward to working with you in our Plano office.
