Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University
Amy has experience working with children, teens and adults as a counselor in various settings ranging from community clinics, medical centers, and private practice and as a teacher in schools extending from middle to high school level.
Her direct internship experience includes working with children, adolescents, and their families in a community clinic setting for children with severe mental health and behavioral issues. She has facilitated psycho-educational groups for court-mandated children and teens affected by trauma and has experience in crisis counseling. Amy has lived and worked overseas for five years and enjoys working with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Her passion is to offer hope and healing to those who are suffering, helping the body of Christ to follow the two greatest commandments: to love God with our whole heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40), believing that therapy is helpful in revealing root issues in order to allow God to heal and restore our hearts and souls.
