Choosing to go to counseling is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of great courage and strength. I am passionate about working with teenagers and adults who experience or have experienced sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, family conflict, adjustment issues, low self-esteem, abandonment, and grief. Healing and personal growth is a process, and it is my goal to come alongside you and walk with you on your journey. I am a trained EMDR therapist. My use of Cognitive Behavioral Theory and EMDR can help give you insights as well as provide tools to take home and apply to your everyday life.

I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Master’s in Professional Counseling. As a licensed professional counselor associate, I can assess, diagnose, and treat mental and emotional disorders. If you have been considering counseling, don’t hesitate!

I am passionate about working with individuals who struggle with life adjustments, sexual trauma, eating disorders, grief, low self-esteem, childhood trauma, and family conflict. In my experience working with individuals who experienced abuse, hope seems lost in the darkness of defeat. As a therapist, I love to hold the hope my clients cannot see. And help them to create a masterpiece out of what seems to look like a disaster. My focus is on establishing a foundation of trust and rapport to make sure my clients feel seen and heard. I am passionate about normalizing counseling; it’s okay to not be okay.
