Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from the University of Texas Dallas.
Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University.
I was an English teacher in Dallas ISD before moving into private education as a Director of Education with Sylvan Learning Centers. While I enjoyed working as a teacher, I decided in 2016 to pursue my master’s in counseling to be better equipped to help others navigate difficulties in their lives.
I have experience working with adolescents as a teacher, school counselor and family counselor in private practice. I have worked with individuals, couples and families both in private practice and in a community clinic setting.
I have also worked with people struggling with substance use both as a facilitator for Celebrate Recovery and as a counselor in private practice.
Helping individuals change the way they think and interpret the events in their lives using the word of God as their guide. Seeing other people become passionate about loving God and loving other people. Helping parents strengthen their relationship with their children.
