I enjoy working with children and adults of all ages. I have experience in individual, couples, and group therapy. I have had the opportunity to work with elementary-age students in children’s ministry and as a household nanny, with pre-teens as an educator in the public school system, and with adolescents battling drug addiction in a residential treatment center. I have also worked with premarital couples, with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, and with men and women in a residential homeless recovery program. I have had experience working with clients through issues related to shame, self-identity, substance abuse, depression, anger management, grief, and anxiety.

I believe that everyone has a story. My dream is to build a meaningful relationship with you and create a safe space where we can work through the painful and uncomfortable parts of your story. I would love to help you write a new life story that honors your emotions, your strengths, and your ability to overcome challenges and make positive changes. I take an integrative approach to counseling by combining psychology with biblical truth. In everything, my desire is to highlight the goodness, mercy, and unconditional love of Christ. Jesus is the ultimate healer. Because we were created in the likeness of God, we are defined by our God-given identity as image-bearers. I believe that all of our needs for love and belonging can be met and all of our fears of rejection and shame can be defeated within a relationship with Christ.
