Background
Over 15 years experience counseling individuals, couples and families working with non-profit behavioral health organizations, acute care hospital settings, private higher education in psychiatric, outpatient behavioral settings. As a mental health specialist, I have assisted individuals and families that are facing challenges of behavioral and emotional issues, blended family and divorce issues, as well as individuals struggling with gender identity issues.
I found myself divorced, and a single mother in my late twenties, then lead to Jesus Christ by the love of my life, of whom I lost last year due to a terminal illness. I am a mother and stepmother of a blended family, and I have found God’s grace and love at every doorway of life.
Passions
To help individuals, couples, traditional and blended families in crisis heal and grow stronger through harnessing their hope. Improving communication, learning to solve family problems, understanding how to handle special family situations, and finding a way to build a better-working home environment is my passion for families in crisis.
