Doctoral degree in Counseling with a minor in Psychology from Texas A & M, Commerce; Doctoral degree in Pastoral Ministries from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary; Master’s degree of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M, Commerce; Bachelors degree in Psychology, Texas A&M, College. Steve is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, a National Certified Counselor, and a licensed and ordained minister


Steve has served as a Youth Minister and Pastor in Texas. He has been a missionary to the Former Soviet Union, Dean of Students, and now serving as the Hope for the Heart Chair of Biblical Counseling at Criswell College


Hanging out with his 7 kids (5 girls and 2 boys), movies, popcorn, and a great love for teaching on any counseling related topic but especially marriage and family issues.


President of the North Texas Chapter of Christian Counselors of Texas, current State President of the Christian Counselors of Texas, and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the National Board for Certified Counselors
